What is e-commerce?



  • E-commerce refers to businesses that are carriedout online using applications, such as E-Mail, instant messaging, websites and mobile application, that work using internet.
  • Ebay, Amazon, Alibaba are some good example of e-commerce.








Different types of e-commerce.

There are different types of e-commerce, among them following three are major types.

  1. B2B: Also known as business to business e-commerce. Intel selling processor to Dell can be a good example of B2B e-commerce.
  2. B2C: Also known as business to consumer e-commerce. Dell selling a laptop/computer to a costumer is a good example of B2C e-commerce.
  3. C2C: Also known as consumer to consumer e-commerce. A consumer selling some objects or service over a platform such as e-bay is an good example of C2C e-commerce.

  • No gurantee of product quality
  • Can not feel the good physically before purchase
